Rushaga sector is located in the south of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This is approximately 8 hours’ drive from Entebbe or Kampala, 7 hours drive from Lake Mburo National Park, three hours’ drive from Queen Elizabeth National Park and 2 hours from Kisoro town.
Drive from Entebbe or Kampala, via Masaka – Mbarara – Kabale highway. From Kabale town, drive southwards along Kabale – Kisoro Road until Muko trading center. Make a right turn off Kisoro highway shortly after Muko police post. The lodge is nestled right beside the main road to Rushaga gate, 10Km from Nyanamo trading centre.

By Air
One scheduled flight operates daily at the nearby Kisoro airstrip at 0810 hours. From Kisoro it is approximately 2 hours’ drive from Rushaga, depending on road conditions. It is also possible to charter a flight to Kisoro from Entebbe and other locations around Uganda.
